a ball is thrown in the air the relationship between the ball the time is in the air in seconds (t) and the height of the ball in feet above the ground (h) is represented by h=-16t^2+46+6 how many seconds will it take for it to hit the ground

    is the equation supposed to be 0=-16t^2+46t+6? extra t -----^

    i think it is if it is then set equal to 0 and solve for t t = -1/8 or 3 since time can't be negative it will be 3 seconds
