quick Q: in the interpreter, what color did the text of the command come out as? for example, the numbers came out in black while the strings came out in green, the answer came out in blue...

    I think it depends on what you're running. My interactive sessions don't have highlighting, I use IPython which does all that stuff, but don't personally like highlighting when I'm working interactively. Highlighting changes from one set up to another. I'm not quite sure people will really understand the question. I may be wrong.
