Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1the answer for "a" is 11 and 7; but use that to figure out "x" a = 3x +8 becomes 11 = 3x+8 and 7 = 3x+8.....solve for x

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1we substituted a variable for (3x+8); right? I used a = 3x+8 we found that a = 11 and a = 7; so use that for solving for x. 11 = 3x+8 118 = 3x 3 = 3x x = 1
