    you need to factor to solve inequalities , in fact in the form it is now you can get the solution in like 30seconds

    yeh, can be done in 30 seconds , just its very hard to explain if the asker isnt familiar with how to graph equations with double and triple roots

    Im actually trying to solve for the Domain I suppose. The answer should look something like (-infinity, -9) U (3, infinity) and so on (just an example answer)

    answer is x=-9 and the interval -1<=x<=3
