I'm currently taking health calculations and I can not figure out these few problems here is number one...The maximum daily dose of a medication is 1400 mg. A continuous IV of 500 mL of NS with 1 g of the medication is ordered to infuse at 25 mL/h. What is the dosage of medication infusing per hour? Can anyone help me PLEASE

every hour 1/20th of the bag is used, and if the one gram of the medication is evenly distributed in the bag, 1/20th of the 1 gram will be used per hour.

gram is a weight and Liter is a volume, you have to express it in terms of weight

I read it as 50mg/h, that is the rate of the medication with respect to the rate of the IV
