    theres no arithmetic or geometric sequence i dont think these are tricky ones you just have to stare at for awhile, its more logic and number patterns than math

    Don't know....a friend gave it to me and said solve that....there may be no answer to it....just thought you guys would know the answer straight away

    in that case id say its more like a puzzle, so its obvious yet not at the same time dont try to find it mathematically

    8x4x6x9x1 = 1728. 8x2x7x1 = 112. 2x1x1 =2 I came up with this yesterday maybe completely off the wall.....but I can't think of anything else
