soooo.. a pair of shoes were 25% off and the original price was 16..how do you solve this? and whats the answer ._.

    25%=0.25. So multiple 16 by 0.25 which is 4. So that means 25% of 16 is 4. If it says its 25% off, that means 16-4. So 12.

    so you change it to a decimal,multiply,then subtract?

    you do 25/100*16, which is 4, and you subtract 4 from 16. The answer is 12
