Whats the correct equation for: there are 1760 yard in 1 mile. How many miles are in 7920 yards?

    Cross-multiplication? 1760yd/1mi = 7920yd/x mi 1760x=7920 x=4.5 miles There are 4.5 miles in 7920 yards.

    So would the correct equation be 1760m=7920?

    Either that or the first equation I wrote would work, I guess. Depending on what your teacher prefers.
