If cscx=-5 and tan x>0, then x must lie in which quadrant

    I believe its the 3rd quadrant. Because Tan is x>0 in the 1st and the third quadrant. Also csc is x<0 in the 3rd quadrant.

    ok that is what i got.. how do I do this problem.. Find the value of the expression: sin(arc cos 8/17)
