determine whether the given 3 points are coillinear. (1,5),(-2,-1) and (-3,-4)

    you can draw a line through them and see if it is. Are you asking us to do it algebraically ?

    do you know how to find the linear equation y=mx+b for (1,5) and (-2,-1) ?

    then once you get that linear equation, you will see if the other point (-3,-4) is on this line. to check that, you will plug it into y=mx+b that you get. if the equation is true, then it is. if you get a false statement, then it is not on the line.
