HI plasmoduiom, I dont know why but in matlab always we compute the fast fourier trasform fft. The code is simple. X=fft(x) for example n=-10:10; x=sin(n); X=fft(x) You can find more information at: http://www.mathworks.com/help/techdoc/ref/fft.html or if you type "fourier transform in matlab" into google, you can get a lot of information. The pdf files are very good. Check them out and if you have question ask.
