the wt=rs = 3x-1 = 6
amistre64
  • amistre64
but other than that, you cant do much else....can you?

I don't think your assumption is valid, since SW is different than TR.
amistre64
  • amistre64
sw is different; its equation is different; but x = x....right?
amistre64
  • amistre64
i think i see what your saying :)
amistre64
  • amistre64
well, i made them equal to find x so they should be good with that assumption

You do? that's good :)

If it's right triangle and the shape is of a rectangle, then the two angles should be exactly the same. Right?
amistre64
  • amistre64
yes the 2 tris should be the same; the angles of a tri can be different tho; but the same in each tri....congruent/similar?
amistre64
  • amistre64
the tris are equal so the sides are equal regardless right :)
amistre64
  • amistre64
my stupidity played in my favor lol i dint see the congruent triangle part lol

Haha.

I didn't actually get what you're saying :)
amistre64
  • amistre64
since the triangles are similiar, and they have one side that is the same; the other sides are equal..... so its as if its a rectangle :)
anonymous
  • anonymous
Oh yeah, almost.
amistre64
  • amistre64
i equate two same sides and find x then find the length of th emissing by equating it to the known side

  • anonymous
Exactly.
