the temperature of water is 9 celsius how much colder must the water get to freeze..?

    obviously 9 because it freezes at 0 celcious

    ok but it indeed appear as the sum of subtraction not as integers if instead of 9 it would be 9.1 then your argue does not sustain any more....

    Your answer and logic are correct, no issues with that. But it is 9 and not 9.1 and i was commenting based on yesterday's experience Agreed there can be more than one way to skin a cat But if the way is specified, then we hv to follow
