Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.02x4>6 2x > 10 x < 5 < when dividing by a negative number the sign flips. This can be plotted on a number line. x = every number greater than negative five.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Uh.. that's not correct. Recall that: \[ a > b \iff a > b \text{ or } a < b\] In this case a is (2x 4) and b is 6 So we have 2x 4 < 6 or 2x 4 > 6 2x < 2 or 2x > 10 x > 1 or x < 5

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0You can also see that your solution is wrong since 0 is greater than 5 and yet \[2(0) 4 = 4 = 4 < 6\]
