what is SAS and AA and SSS?

- amistre64

AA is my guess; your got 2 angles the same; but i dunno how much proof that is

- Momo

i was guessing AA also because the sides are smaller

- amistre64

the crossin glines tells you the angle interior is the same; and the measure of that outside one thats marked is the same...

- Momo

yeah, so i'm going with AA
lol

- Momo

so are you a math teacher?

- amistre64

going for my masters in math to be a college math teacher...so maybe lol

- anonymous

um, it is AAA because it is given that angle ABC is equal to angle ADE

- amistre64

with 2 angles the same; the third is a given i believe

- anonymous

angle BAC is angle BAE

- anonymous

sorry i meant angle BAC is the same as angle DAE

- Momo

ha well you are pretty close. good job :)

- anonymous

so it follows that angle AEB is angle ACB since we know sum of internal angles of triangle is 180.
so we have AAA congruence or whatever they call it. i did all this a long long time ago :)
