In the course there are 23 lectures but only 12 assignments. After which lecture should I do which assignment?

    The calender would seem to be a good place to start. http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-00-introduction-to-computer-science-and-programming-fall-2008/calendar/ There are a range of dates for each assignment. If you can't do one when its handed out, wait a lecture and then try again (just have them done by the time you get to the due date)
