the average price of a certain brand television dropped from $3000 in january to $2400 in sept. find the rate of change in the average of the televison. pleez help show work

    jan to feb is 1 month feb to march is 1 month march to april is 1 month april to may is 1 month may to june is 1 month june to july is 1 month july to august is 1 month august to september is 1 month so the total number of months is 8, not 7. andrea, use 8 instead of 7 to get your answer. thanks nancy, for pointing that out!
