    .14x+ 27 = .18x +20 the flat rates of 27 and 20 are your constant (y-intercepts in y=mx+b) where the extra cost is the slope

    rates are peer minute which is an additional charge on top of the base amounts of 27 and 20 for the plan

    solve the equation by putting x's on one side and constants on the other .04x=7 then divide both sides by .04 so x = 175
