what is an equation of a line that passes through the point (7,3) and is parallel to the line 4x+2y=10

    thats what was given i use y-y1=m(x-x1)

    ok thats a start and you know y1 and x1 is a point (x1,y1) you are given a point (7,3) so plug that in. Are you done? Is there something else missing?

    well then that means something is missing right? you have x1 y1 y are variable and x is also a variable. What else is missing?
