Writing an essay or a thesis requires a well written thesis statement. A thesis statement helps the reader to know what your essay or writing is about. It may be a single or a few sentences. It is not necessary that the thesis statement should be the first line of the first paragraph. I got help from http://www.my-thesis.net/importance-of-thesis-statement-in-your-thesis-writing/

An outline that I use for my thesis statement is simple. This is what I do.......I introduce my topic....such as Girls are cooler then boys because they are so much more mature. Then I write HOWEVER, it depends on a how a person was raised to determine if there cooler or not BECAUSE people go through different life experiences so we cant discriminate on gender.
