The richies are ordering topsoil for their new lawn. the topsoil will be spread evenly over the yard before the grass is planted. the yard is 81 feet wide and 111 feet long. the topsoil will be spread 2 inches deep. How many cubic yards of topsoil are needed?

    To find the volume of a rectangular prism you do: length x width x height. (don't forget to convert everything into the same units)

    it only tells me the width and length

    the height is 2 inches. (you'll probably want to convert everything into yards to begin, 3 feet in a yard and 12 inches in a foot)
