you are building your course schedule for the spring. you are going to enroll in 4 courses, math, science, history and pe. if there 4 math classes, 3 science classes, 5 history classes, and 8 pe classes that will fit your schedule, in how many ways can you select your classes?

    there are 4 ways you can select your math class. there are 3 ways you can select your science class. there are 5 ways you can select your history class. there are 8 ways you can select your PE class. so totally there are 4x3x5x8 ways you can select a combination of these classes.
