    Skin cells last 2 - 4 weeks depending on how fast/often you shed skin cells.

    Epidermal skin cells last 2 to 4 weeks. The factors that determine the exact amount of time a skin cell lives include how quickly the surface cells shed as well as skin thickness and where the skin cells are located on the body.
