what is the equation of the ellipse with vertices (0, -1) and (12, -1) and minor axis of length 6

    center = (6,-1) the major axis is the x so big number under x minor axis = 3 from center major axis = 6 from center and thats all we need (x-6)^2 (y+1)^2 ------- + --------- = 1 36 9
