perform the indicated operations & simplify 3z + 2z - 5 --- --- --- z^2-1 1-z z-1

    first you'll need to get the have the same denominator:\[\frac{3z + 2z(-(z+1)) - 5(z-1)(z+1)}{(z+1)} \]\[= \frac{3z -2z^2-2z-5z^2+5}{(z+1)(z-1)}\]\[= \frac{z-7z^2+5}{(z-1)(z+1)}\]\[=\frac{-7z^2 +z +5}{(z-1)(z+1)}\] correct me if I'm wrong please ^_^
