The lengths of the three sides of a triangle are supposed to be 8 cms, 8 cms, and 17 cms. Does this information result in one triangle, two triangles or no triangle at all? a)one triangle b)two triangles c)no triangle at all

    no triangle is possible

    sum of two sides must be greater than the third

    no tri :) when you add any 2 sides, they have to be at least as long as the remaining side
