    \((x^7+x^6)^2- x^5(x^7+x^6)\) \(=x^{14}+2x^{13}+x^{12}-x^{12}-x^{11}\) \(=x^{14}+2x^{13}-x^{11}\)

    Most of your questions can be answer automatically if you go to http://www.wolframalpha.com . For example in the box you can type factor s^6-729. It will give you the answer and the steps as well.
