Diseases are different from Disorders. Systemic related Disorders can be Respiratory, Cardiovascular , Gastro- intestinal, endocrinal or Hormonal, Neural etc. Hypertension is a disorder of the cardiovascular system resulting in increased Blood pressure. Atherosclerosis is one of the underlying factors. Situations which lead to vascular damage in the cerebral hemispheres result in Stroke. hypertension is a known risk factor for Stroke

Hypertension is high blood pressure means increase in the pressure of the blood against the arterial wall, atherosclerosis is hardening of the arteries due to fats which leads to constriction of blood flow; these two may lead to stroke (brain attack) because of limited blood supply to the brain, in which the brain needs around 20% of all blood supply pumped by the heart. I'm so sure about the percentage but definitely it is around 20%
