Two cars moving in opposite directions cover same distance "d" in one hour. If the cars were moving in north-south direction, what will be the displacement in one hour?

    If both cars travel at a speed of \[v=1 d h ^{-1}\] (one unit of d per hour) and they travel in opposite directions- assuming they started in the same place, after one hour they will be a distance 2d apart.
