What's an easy way to remember all the trigonometric identities, like sin^2x+cos^2x=1?

    sin and cos are two of the most basic trig functions, and this is one of the most basic identity. If you can remember anything, you can remember this one. For what its worth, it is closely related to x^2+y^2=1, that's a way to remember it.
