i need help with this question... it says: " Simplify. Write each expression as a single power with a positive exponent." a) $2^{4}(2^{2}) \div 2^{-6}$ how do i do this??

The top line says $2^4 \times 2^2$, so you add the indices to get $2^6$ Now you have $2^6 divided by 2^(-6)$ so you SUBTRACT the bottom index from the top one to get 2^12
