I'm trying to determine the borrowing needs of a company by first doing a forecast for next year's numbers. The company is private and the only information I have is a condensed balance sheet and income statement for the last two years and Sales and Net Income for Q1 for this year. My approach is to forecast the numbers for each balance sheet and income statement items relative to Sales and apply the ratio tothe projected revenues for this year. Is there another way to do it?
