## anonymous 5 years ago solve 2 minus the squareroot of 2 minus x = x + 6

1. anonymous

$2 - \sqrt{2} - x = x+6$ $2x = -4 + \sqrt{2}$ $x = -2 +\sqrt{2}/2 = -1.292$

2. myininaya

$2-\sqrt{2}-x=x+6$ $2x=2-6-\sqrt{2}=-4-\sqrt{2}$ $x=\frac{-4-\sqrt{2}}{2}=\frac{-4}{2}-\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}=-2-\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}$
