Can you make a triangle out of the following lengths: 8", 12" and 2.5"? explain

    No you cannot. 8 and 2.5 add up to less than 12 so they will never "reach" the ends of the 12" side.

    if you squered 2.5 and 8 and then you take square toot you will get 8.34 not 12
