3.7 points Save The junior class sold 120 turkey dinner plates and 200 chicken dinner plates for a total of $2,150. The senior class sold 100 turkey plates and 300 chicken plates, raising $2,625. What was the cost of each turkey dinner plate?

    Let \(x,y\) be the cost of a turkey and a chicken plate respectively. Then \(120x+200y=2150\) \(100x+300y=2625\) Please try to solve it :)

    wouldnt i just subtract 300 from 2625 and thendivide?

    Multiply the first equation by 3 and the second by -2. Then add the two resulted equations and see what happen.
