What is the value of b2 - 4ac for the following equation? 2x2 + 3x = -1

    a=2, b=3, c=1.... Now plug those values into your expression to get the result. On a side note, please use the equation button so your equations are easier to read.

    if anything; i person could verify their equation by posting it after a question is asked.. if they know how to use it :)

    Ah, ok...I'll have to remember that. Anyway, the quadratic's easy enough to recognize in this case; no harm done... :)
