in the math lottery, only 2/25% of the tickets sold win prizes. How many prizes are awarded if 75050 tickets are sold ???

    2 / 25 expressed as a percentage is .08 so the number awarded is 75050 * .08

    It's 2/25ths of a percent though, so it's really 2 in 2500 will win.
