when 4131 people attended a concert, the concert hall was 90% full. How many seats does the concert hall have ?

    you do the number of people devided by the percent so in this case its 4131/.90 remember that a percent is a part of 1 so 100 percent is 1 and 90 percent is .9 and so on

    Let x = number of seats. x * 90% = 4131. Solve for x.
