Your in charge in designing containers for a new brand of juice. The containers must be able to hold a 6-inch straw so that 1 inch remains outside the container when the straw is inserted as far as possible. And option is a square prism with a 3 in. by 3 in. base. How much material is needed to make this container? Answer: I know the answer, it's 49.7 in^3 (surface area) but I can't seem to do the work.
