    so if we move up along vector D then we are essentially subtracting E from D ( which is in the last two terms of ur expression

    similarly, from there you can go along vector C in the opposite direction ( thus substracting vector C )

    continuing wth this logic , once you get to subtracting B, then you will be at the tip of vector A
