Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0In 1822,Charles Babbage produced a small working model of a simple device called " the Difference Engine".It was a special purpose automatic digital computer. With this machine, he could demonstrate computation of mathematical table with an accuracy upto 8 decimal places and printing out its own result. In 1833, Babbage also designed a machine known as "Analytical Engine" with which it was possible to execute a long sequence of operations under automatic control, handling thousands of numbers, each of 50 digits stored in the machine itself. He also introduced the principle of PUNCH CARDS AS input/output devices for his computing machine. But, "BABBAGE WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL TO PUT HIS PRINCIPLES TO PRACTICE DURING HIS TIME DUE TO ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGICAL LIMETATIONS."
