Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0use the quadratic formula x=[b+sqrt(b^2 4ac)]/2a x=[8+sqrt(8^2 4*2*7)]/2*2 x=[8+sqrt(6456)]/4 x=[8+sqrt(8)]/4 x={8+2(2)^1/2]/4 x={4+(2)^1/2]/2 the other is x={4(2)^1/2]/2
