    1-cos(x) ------------ then 1 + cos(pi - x)

    \[cos(\pi-x)=cos(\pi)cos(x)+sin(\pi)sin(x)=-cos(x)\]

    i wrote that for myself, but it is a basic fact that \[cos(\pi-x)=-cos(x)\]
