Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0x^3 function is a familiar function, you should know it. That is a start

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0i just don't want to make a mistake, and go take the test, with the mistake

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Look, usually in front of book, for picture of familiar graphs, you would see one of x^3

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Yesterday, I gave you end behavior of functions ax^n, What is end behavior when n is odd, a>0?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0We talked about this yesterday here, you didn't say, great I got it, or no I still don't understand it http://openstudy.com/users/chaguanas#/users/chaguanas/updates/4dd93550d95c8b0b564164c4

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0That is why I can't help you. I am telling you stuff to help you graph it and you are saying it doesn't help you.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0ok, do it like if you were going to graph the fucntion

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0When you are graphing these things, it is not like high school where you get an x, get a y. It is intuitive. When they say end behavior that means one end is pointing one way, and so on. You find where it crosses x (x intercept) and where it crosses y (y intercept). It is a feeling a drawing, Not exact. So you have to have a basic idea of what an x^3 function looks like. I found one here http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://hotmath.com/hotmath_help/topics/cubicfunctions/cubicfunctions.gif&imgrefurl=http://hotmath.com/hotmath_help/topics/cubicfunctions.html&h=300&w=300&sz=6&tbnid=YbJQkyHmHbgMfM:&tbnh=116&tbnw=116&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dx%2B3%2Bfunction%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=x+3+function&hl=en&usg=__qWLwnpJWeQoFkqxZUFfy_7zXFTA=&sa=X&ei=ItrZTfv4BJCctwe7_ZnpDg&sqi=2&ved=0CEsQ9QEwBA

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0what is the end behavoir?

anonymous

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0The graph goes on to infinity, so basically you just draw a line in the direction and put an arrow at the end to denote it goes on to infinity, the graph is just a representation.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Just look at the link I sent you above, you would see the graph is cut off at both ends, but it is understood that it continues.
