Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Multiply both sides by 10 Hence 8x + 40 lessor= 16x  10 Subtract 8x from both sides 40 lessor= 8x 10 add 10 to both sides 50 lessor= 8x Divide by 8 50/8 lessor= x. That is the answer
