FCCLA is selling granola bars for a fundraiser. The peanut butter bars cost 25¢ per lb. and the chocolate chip costs 30¢ per lb. The club sold 260 lbs of granola bars and collected $71. How many pounds of each type were sold?

    100 cents = 1 dollar so our eqns are : 25x+30y=7100 x+y=260

    solving u get x=140 and y=120 :) i.e. 140 peanut butter and 120 choco chips
