Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Work out the area of the triangle then multiply this by the length of the prism. If still not sure, post a copy of the question.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Since it's a triangular prism, you' have to find the area of the triangle (the figure is named after its base). Area of a triangle is 1/2bh. The formula multiplies it by 2 because you have two triangular bases on a triangular prism. Surface = 2b + Ph (b is the area of the base P is the perimeter of the base)

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Thanks. The base of the triangle is 8cm and the height is 6cm, the other dimension is not needed. Area of a triangle is vertical height (6cm) x base (8cm) divided by 2 Area of this triangle is therefore 24cm^2 Now multiply by the length of the prism (12cm) Answer = 288cm^3
