just plug in the numbers

2. amistre64

6

3. anonymous

$5\times 4 -g(x)=14$ $20-g(x)=14$ $g(x)=6$

4. anonymous

or rather i should say: $lim_{x->1=-1}g(x)=6$

5. anonymous

it does not mean g(x)= 6, it means the limit is 6. sorry that was a mistake

6. anonymous

where did 4 come from

7. anonymous

$lim_{x->1}F(x)=4$

8. anonymous

ooo never mind f(-1)=4

9. anonymous

right!

10. anonymous

sometimes to ask is to answer.
