    there would be no middle term since there is a -2 and a +2 :) hope this helps..... yes this is the answer

    so you just multiply the 2's and the make the x^2

    x^2-4 = 0 X^2=4 X = +2 and -2

    okay well when say you have (x+1)(x+1) FOIL (first, outter, inner, last) you multiply the x's and you get x^2 then you multiply the outter and last and add and you get 2x and then multiply the last and you get 1 sooo.... your answer for that one would be..... x^2+2x+1

    no.... thats the answer for my problem but your is..... x^2+4 dont listen to koolkow because, you are not trying to find the solutions your just multiplying or FOILing it out
