2x+1<5 is it x<3

    2x+1<5 -- 2x<4 --- x<4/2 --- x<2

    Subtract 1 from both sides ... Divide both sides by 2

    Add x to both sides...11 is greater or equal to x + 7 subtract 7 from both sides 4 is greater or equalt to x

    11-7>=x --- 4>=x
